| oceanova Photographer  Location United Kingdom Essex | I tried a search using various key words on how to upload an image to a forum posting and got a load of unrelated answers. The image in question is stored on flickr, would that be the problem or is the url I copied wrong..... Any info would be wonderful

Go to the top Menu bar, click on [Forum], click on [Forum Avatar], ensure Rich Text Editor is selected. Open a forum post, click on [Post Reply], hover your mouse pointer over the 5th icon from the left in the Menu and the word [Image] should appear - click this icon and add the URL of the image you wish to post. Additionally, look in the FAQs (or the Guideline below) for reasons why an image may not show. FAQs Link At The Bottom Of Every Page --- Expanded |

With flickr, you have to extract the correct part for the link to work
Grab the HTML:

Copy only the part I've made RED, then paste as the URL in the box provided.
