| MG Photographer Location United Kingdom Warwickshire | I used to use a Phillips car dvd monitor for quite a while but the problem is all of those cheap monitors don't have HDMI so you're left with using the AV connector. The point of the monitors are to enable easy focusing but when the picture youre looking at is really quite pixelated it's quite hard to focus. Swapping to an HDMI monitor for around £100 or less really does make the absolute world of difference to how clear the image is. I used to spend more time switching the screen off and then just using the 5x or 10x button to check pre focus I found that they really hindered more than they helped... Just my experience... |

| otteypm Photographer Location United Kingdom Staffordshire | I love a good bit of DIY but I don't think this will solve the problem. Two things I want from a shooting monitor, mono function and peaking, both help focus more than just having a bigger picture... | |
