| N_A_Photography Photographer Location United Kingdom Norfolk Norwich | I've recently been contacted by someone wanting pictures of there kids on there trampoline, I have given the relevant information (price, dates im available)
Few messages into talking they now seem to be implying that the I would be left with care of the kids while the mum is out and the dad is working from home, he's said he can see everything that would go on from his window but frankly I don't feel comfortable with his proposition 1. Im not a |

What happens if one makes an alegation? You will get the blame probably. As you said, you are not a baby sitter. |

| Mansell Photographer Location United Kingdom South Yorkshire Sheffield | Let it go. If the parents can't be arsed to spend some time with and supervise their kids whilst you shoot why should you have to? For me, the money wouldn't come into it. There's no way you should be put in this position of responsibility |

| alexcrawford Photographer Location United Kingdom Essex Chelmsford | it could be a recipe for disaster or you could have a great time and get some great shots. its probably an innocent request to have you shoot the kids whilst the parents busy themselves elsewhere. YOUR assessment has to be balancing the risks against the income and perceived hassle/headaches which only you can decide upon. do you have a female helper you could take along? if i felt exposed to unfounded claims against me but i wanted the work i would proba bly take an assistant and a video to record the whole session. beware of trampolines and excitable kids ! if you do end up shooting prob best to ensure crash mats are present and all metal parts are adequately covered up. the more i think about it the more i'd insist a parent was in charge of the kid and you were there just taking photographs of what they are doing. your involvement with the kid being kept minimal. very difficult call. please let me know what you decide upon cheers alex |

| N_A_Photography Photographer Location United Kingdom Norfolk Norwich | Hey guys thanks for your advice They are strangers to me never heard or them or met them, if it was a relative I know they wouldn't bother asking me to look after them as they know I'd say no I think im going to leave it. I just don't see why the parents can't stand there with the kids for an hour It actually kinda scares me thinking of this situation from the parents view as it something was to happen my first thought would be to blame the person left involved and also (not saying I'd ever do anything as I would never dream of) but they have no idea who I am for all they know I could be a kidnapper or could rob there house! I think im going to say no, the whole leaving me involved part has put me off |

| Davie_Gilfillan_23 Photographer Location United Kingdom County Durham Durham | Last year on the local news there was a report from A & E saying the most common children's injuries they were seeing was from multiple kids on a trampoline at the same time. Why open yourself up to being blamed for such an accident? |

| skymouse Photographer Location United Kingdom London London | Disclaimer: I am not a parent so know next to nothing about kids! That said, I would think that taking charge of a photo session and taking charge of kids both need a high level of focus. I'd consider it impossible to discharge both responsibilities to an acceptable level at the same time. |
