Ok Essex is the second largest county after Yorkshire. And maybe more clarification E.G location Chelmsford Essex or Brentwood Essex as this will help a lot re distance to travel to or for a shoot. |

It is still helpful. In my case I am on the edge of 2 counties - and I can get to several others more quickly than I can to the extremities of those! Additionally the availability of a local train station for the model helps in planning possible shoots too. The more email tennis can be reduced the better. It's hard enough sometimes now! |

If its a paid shoot the photographer is always "paying" travel expenses (or they never are whichever way you want to look at it), i never understood why it mattered how you cut the cost up. I would never 'charge' travel expenses if photographers initially gave me enough information to give an accurate quote for the job, they usually dont. So you get a discussion like this 'well you want me to travel to x? I'll need to have y on top for travel then' 'you want to shoot for z hours, well i can reduce the rate then'. |
