| Sarge Photographer Location United Kingdom County Durham | Its still ongoing, but lack of money has meant i have had to do meaningless/boring (but necessary) jobs like replace the fence i took down, paint the outside of it with preservative etc. I will take some more photos today and update tonight. |

| Sarge Photographer Location United Kingdom County Durham | Sorry i have not updated in a while, but been busy at work, ran out of cash and reached my upload limit on Photobucket. Anyway, enough of the excuses, here is the latest instalment... 17/7/12 Been very busy doing small bits and pieces that took loads of time to do without much to show for it. Eventually had a dry day a week ago when i could get round to painting preservative over the shed. I used Cuprinol Ultimate, that was £30 a tin (but buy 2 get one free). Only managed one coat using a large brush and battled through cramp in my hands in doing so (the joys of getting old). I think it looks a load better. The observant of you will notice that after much head scratching i decided on blocking up the window that i smashed. I couldnt find a replacement the correct size or even slightly smaller as this one was very narrow. This can easily be removed should i find some glass that will fit in the future. ![]() I have now wired up the shed using 6x double sockets and put lighting in using 6 halogen spot lights on a double dimmer. There are 2 lights to the front of the shed (near the door) and 4 in the main area. I can turn off the 4 and dim the other 2 when i am using my studio lights. I have wired it to a fused spur in the conservatory. ![]() ![]() I have also boxed an area off that can be used for storage or a changing area. ![]() ![]() I have also strengthened a beam that i can use to hang a punchbag off and it will also 'easily' take my weight. ![]() I have fitted a blackout blind to the window that runs behind a chanel to stop any light spillage from the sides. It is pitch black when its closed (or would be if there wasnt light coming through the door). ![]() I have just bought some more laminate flooring that i have partly fitted today after taking the flooring up that can be seen in the photos. I have also put 2 shelving units together and want to put more wood on the rafters to create a loft space for storage too. I think when i cover the insides it will start to look much more tidy, but at least it is now in a position where i can start to use it. In fact i have a friend coming over on Friday for a shoot, so will post my first photos when i have taken them. |

| MG Photographer Location United Kingdom Warwickshire | The geat danger of running cross joists on the walls is that in no time at all they become shelves and then you start using them and then when you come to plasterboard it you lose everything on your new shelves forever! I remember losing a cordless drill on one once! Only realsed after about a week it was behind the wall! |

| Sarge Photographer Location United Kingdom County Durham | Lol, i will try to remember that. Actually i am going to put insulation in the walls, so hopefully will remember to remove drills and cups of tea as i do this. |

| Sarge Photographer Location United Kingdom County Durham | Well, eventually set some lights up to have a mess around. This took literally 10 minutes (5 of which were me trying to work out why my flash wasnt going off until i realised i had put the transmitter on my camera the wrong way round, lol). Only 3 of the 4 flashes used for this. ![]() Straight from camera ![]() Desaturated a little ![]() |

| Imagery Photographer Location United Kingdom North Yorkshire | Great Work so far.. I want one..! What is the light to the left of the shot? A strange attachment on the Beauty dish? or some sort of ring light on a wall mounted light? I am sure when you get an internal wall covering it will look even better. |
