| Nick_Edinburgh Photographer Location United Kingdom Edinburgh Edinburgh | It would certainly influence my choice of models. You don't say at what point you told the photographer you weren't coming. In fact it almost sounds as if you didn't do so in advance at all, which I'd certainly consider pretty unforgivable if I was waiting. If so, was there a reason you couldn't contact him when it became clear you wouldn't be going |

It was a group shoot I couldnt phone as I was driving but when i got the chance to stop i didn inform him of the time left on the sat nav I mean you could have pulled over. If you knew it was going to be tight you should have just said no in advance, that way it didn't reflect badly on you like it has now. The only thing you can do is get some good references and make sure you never ever do it again. And take it seriously x |

| Socialdisaster Photographer Location United Kingdom Cambridgeshire Cambridge | Hey Ya'll Back in Nov I had a shoot booked which wasn't fully confirmed as i had an acting job in Manchester(on Shameless :P ) and had to travel from Manchester to the shoot in The south. I did inform the photographer that I may not have made it as i was driving from one place to another.. Anyhow...... I didn't make it and now i have bad feedback.... I'm not a bad person .... No but seriously.... do you think this would stop photographers from wanting to work with me? Probably yes. Consider photographer F has a project and needs a model, he finds 2 suitable models on PS and looks through their profiles, both seem good for the job. One has a blue face, the other, none. You can guess who gets the work. |

| tarmoo Photographer Location United Kingdom Kent Chatham | I had a model cancel at the last minute once for a paid shoot. She sent a text explaining she was offered a last minute tear sheet publication she could not turn down. She offered a TF shoot in compensation which we shot a few weeks later. I think you could offer this photographer a replacement low rate shoot and turn the negative feedback into a positive reference. If you were to get another no show it would kill off any chance of getting work. If you do a few more shoots the negative feedback will drop off the front page of your profile. Consider putting up a casting offer that will attract a few shoot with a good rate. A model day at a studio may get you a few feedbacks. |
