Hi!

Just wondering if it would be possible to have this facility on your inbox, like on Outlook email?

Sometimes I check Purestorm on my phone, or sneakily at work, read a message but don't have the time to reply there and then. Then I forget. Would it be possible to click to put it back to unread so that the next time I log in I am reminded that I still have unread (or un-replied to) messages?

Apologies if this function already exists, I did have a look but couldn't see it.

Cheers!

Then you'll get people reading their messages, the other party is cancelling at short notice, and then click your 'Unread message' button. then pretend to go to the shoot, prepare etc & post a no-show against the other party.

That's one flaw that I can clearly see already.

It took about ten attempts for me to understand that
I don't see why someone would bother doing that though, if it's the other person cancelling at short notice and you've done nothing wrong, then why would there be a need to pretend you've not read the message and leave a no-show? Are people really that spiteful?
I think it'd probably make it easier for flakey people to hide their flakeyness (oh but I didn't see your message that you sent a week ago! Look, it's unread!) but aside from that I'd quite like this feature as well.

I don't think marking as unread would change the read status in the senders sent items though? Or, stick a read receipt option on as well to stop that happening. I know with Outlook that once an item has been read and a receipt generated it is not cancelled by a mark as unread.

Here on PS you can flag messages so if you do read it but don't reply and need to reply you could always flag it and go back to it later.

Yes, I'd imagine that there would be some vindictive people prepared to do just that.  Afterall, a day off work sometimes can't be unbooked at 10:00 pm in most jobs etc.

But as Russ has kindly pointed out, you can flag your inbox messages on the right handside of the header.  I've never used it because I have never needed to unread a message.
