The Blackthorn School of Photography in Cricklade (near Swindon) is running a one day workshop covering the essentials of Wedding Photography.

Intermediate - Creative Wedding Photography £190
Tuesday 13 September 2011. 
10.00 till 16.00. 
This one day course is aimed at the professional wedding photographer or the experienced photographer who is keen to photograph weddings. 
Using a model this course will be practical, with opportunities to learn and practise the important techniques needed for successful wedding photography. 
The subjects covered will include:- 
How to shoot into the light 
Finding the natural light 
Getting good expressions 
Using flash indoors to balance light 
Using flash outside as both main and fill light, on and off camera. 
Using reflectors to increase the size of the fill-light. 
White balance and creative use. 
On completion of the course you would expect to feel confident with the techniques used to take high quality commercial images in what can be challenging photographic conditions. This Blackthorn Pro course is recommended by the Guild of Photographers.

Intermediate - The Lightroom programme for portrait photographers and the techniques for retouching portrait images. £150
