| fotographseu Photographer  Location United Kingdom London | just found this thread...love it. I shoot in hotels all the time, probably done over 20 shoots in them. Don't tell managenment and never had a single problem...yet. Do agree you need to be discreet! But i figure so long as the room is put back together by the time of checkout, then you are ok. If you book 2 nights then you can fit loads of shooting time in: 3pm until 11am, plus the 24 hrs extra as well. abandoned hotel in the caribbean....unbelievable place   hotel in victoria, bc, canada.....had a brilliant balcony that you could set lights up on and point them back thru windows and so simulate daylight at 10pm!  really good apartment / hotel in Edinburgh....regularly get 80 quid for the night and you get 2 bedroom luxury apartment with floor to ceiling windows http://www.hot-el-apartments.com/edinburgh-waterfront-apartments   |

| barone Photographer  Location United Kingdom West Midlands Wolverhampton | If you ask...most hotels will give you rates for 09:00-15:00hrs or 15:00-21:00hrs, for photography use.....You don't have to hide what you're doing then or your lighting gear.  |
