Heading east on the A55, come off at the Rhyl/St Asaph turn off (I think it's junction 25), and turn left towards Rhyl. At the next roundabout, turn right towards the castle. Turn right again at the mini roundabout (Rhuddlan castle is now on your right). Follow the road, and at the end turn right. As you come into Dyserth, you'll see the signs for the waterfall. Turn left at the lights, and a hundred yards down the hill on the right is the car park for the waterfall. It's a beautiful fall, and you may need to be creative if you've got a lot to set up! The church at Bodlwydan. The piers at Colwyn Bay and LLandudno, I don't know when you was in North Wales last but the old quarries in between Abergele and Colwyn Bay are now a landfill sites. The problem with the Marble church at Bodlwydan is the lighting , they don't want you to use any flash in the church as it can damage the windows, the pier at Colwyn bay is a mess . Providing the tide isn't in, I often use the beach at Llanddulas (come of the A55 at junction 23, then there is Conwy you have the castle and the harbour. |

 Location United Kingdom Clwyd Deeside | I second the beach at Llanduddno; the poet caves not far from that either but when I shot there it was occupied (i.e being lived in) so not sure what state it's in now. I keep meaning to do some shoots around Wepre too, theres lots of great spots dotted around & it's literally in my back garden, technically speaking, it's just round the corner. |

Wepre's great. I did a shoot there with two models recently, and we didn't come close to exhausting the potential before we were exhausted ourselves! With three waterfalls, two great bridges, a ruined castle, the Devils Basin and a great winding river, there's so many great shots to be had. James |
