I am currently looking into part time make-up artist courses/qualifications, there are so many offered I was wondering if anyone had any advice on the better courses/colleges.  I have no formal qualifications at present, so i need to find a good starting point.

Any advice/guidence would be very much appreciated.

i did a really basic college course, IMO most of the courses around today are either bullcassiemakeup is a naughty person or painfully basic.

your best bet is to do a basic course at a local college where you'll touch the absolute basics of everything, then assist an artist. or if you've got money to spend, sam chapman (an amazing makeup artist) does courses which are truly worth their weight in gold so i'm told- http://www.samanthachapman.com/#/training/4520631231
